"The things my family and I loved about this house, besides the charm and character of the craftsman style, is the close proximity to all the uptown amenities. A block from the playground for the kids.  A walk uptown for the bakery or Chinese food. Or a bike ride to the track and tennis courts. The neighborhood is quiet, well kept and very safe with the police and fire stations nearby. We always had 3 spaces to park directly in front of the house, as well as available overflow parking when we had friends over. I never had to look for a parking spot and we entertained without a problem. The house is well built and easy to heat and cool. The baking apples from the trees made amazing pies and apple dumplings. The house's charm speaks for itself. It has been well preserved and beautifully restored. Holidays were awesome there, and Christmases were especially magical. That house decorates like a dream. I love that it still has the original character, but all the modern conveniences. We loved living there for over 10 years and put a lot of love and time into fixing it back up. It's the perfect family home and we still miss it.
